Silky Kadakia

Silky Kadakia is the Americas Head of Design for Vector.

She has over 15 years of experience in design and innovation across industries—including financial services, healthcare, and consumer products.

Silky bridges the gap between business and design, bringing deep expertise in design thinking, facilitation, creative concepting, data visualization, and UX/UI design. Her experience across industries, has led Silky to build and launch successful services, experiences, and products rooted in human-centered design that drives strategic business growth.

In addition to client work, Silky leads the design team for the Americas and is responsible for growing and advancing Bain's design capability.

Outside of Bain, Silky also serves as adjunct faculty at Parsons School of Design, where she teaches a studio course on applying strategic design in a business context.

Before joining us, Silky worked at various product companies and built a design studio at another top consulting firm. She has an M.S. in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design and a B.A. in Government and Studio Art from Georgetown University.
