Raúl Medina Mora

Raúl Medina Mora is a member of Bain's Business Development team. 

During his career of 35+ years he has developed technology solutions in education, industrials, financial services among others in Mexico and other countries (US and UK). He has a very extensive network in México and Latam.

In the last few years, he has been developing and delivering technology strategy and solutions to large enterprises. He has held CTO and CIO positions and was most recently the VP of Strategic Alliances at SAP Mexico where he was critical in developing the SAP-BAIN regional relationship.

Raúl leadership led SAP to recognize BAIN as SAP Partner Excellence in Innovation in Latam for 2020.

Raúl joined BAIN’s Business Development (Global Partnerships) organization to pursue and grow the strategic alliances of BAIN in Latam and elsewhere, across Bain's practices.

Raúl was instrumental in the sale and success of the mabe cases, highlight of the Bain - SAP Strategic Alliance.

Raúl earned his PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon and a BSc. in Applied Mathematics (Actuario) from the UNAM. Both degrees with Honors. He also holds six patents in the US Patent Office.

In the Business Development team, Raúl leads the Book Club and the Fireside Chat initiatives in the social committee.

Raúl lives with his wife Yolanda in Mexico City and has 3 children and 4 granddaughters.
