John Gomes is a member of the firm's Communications, Media, and Entertainment practice.
A passion for innovation has been one of John's hallmarks since childhood. In his first job, he converted his passion for computer programming into a fast-rising career as a software engineer and program manager. Over seven years, John had four patents approved and was the inventor of an early platform for printing from mobile phones.
Over the last 22 years, John has focused on combining innovation with business strategy, understanding that companies must constantly improve and identifying how they can use their existing resources to meet customer desires.
His client work today spans the globe, from Australia to the Americas to Europe, and includes end-to-end transformation, customer care and experience improvement, innovation strategies, and the creation of next-generation models for leading telecom companies.
John obtained his undergraduate in computer engineering from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and Executive Program in management (SEP) from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
John spends his time outdoors (mountaineering, hiking, road biking, sailing) and enjoys landscape and astrophotography. He lives with his wife and his dog, a labradoodle, in San Francisco.
