Leader in our Consumer Products practice, helping clients grow faster and more profitably
Ken is a member of our Consumer Products practice.
Ken’s early experience working in a convenience store in his native Glasgow sparked his lifelong fascination with how brands grow, how consumers make decisions, and how the consumer products industry operates. Since then, he's spent over 15 years helping global consumer products businesses set strategic direction grounded in consumer insight and clarity, and mobilizing their organizations to deliver results.
His work spans growth strategy, marketing, commercial excellence, mergers and acquisitions, operations reinvention, and full potential transformations. He also advises private equity clients on acquisitions and post-acquisition value creation, and helped lead Bain’s research on insurgent brands and the future of marketing.
Ken graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Glasgow and earned an MBA with Distinction as an Edward Tuck Scholar at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He is also a Chartered Accountant and worked in investment banking and private equity investing before joining Bain.
