Key Pharma Tech Trends to 2024: Big Data and Analytics, Cybersecurity and Cloud Services
Pharma executives see less impact from advanced manufacturing, voice technologies and virtual reality.
In a recent Bain survey, 61% of pharma executives said they expect big data and analytics to have a major impact on the industry in the next five years, transforming areas such as predictive analytics for diagnoses and supply chain tracking. Nearly half said cybersecurity technologies and cloud services will remain critical as pharma companies attempt to protect sensitive health data while managing costs.
