What to expect from the application process

- As part of this application process we'll ask you to answer two questions:
- At Bain, we enjoy working in teams together with our clients, to tackle their most challenging problems. What is your favorite example of a team you've worked in to solve a problem? (Max 250 words)
- How can the Belong@Bain programme help you succeed in your MBA and future career? (Max 250 words)

Who is eligible to apply for Belong@Bain?
Applications for Belong@Bain are open to pre-MBA students who have accepted their offer to start business school at London Business School (LBS). If you do not identify as Black Heritage or are not joining LBS, we recommend you check out our ExperienceBain fellowship programme.

Can students from any business school apply?
At present, this program is only for students at London Business School. In the future, we may open this up to more business schools. If you have any questions, email London Business School team.

How should I answer the applications questions?
As truthfully as you can. These are a chance for us to find out more about you and there are no right or wrong answers.

Do I need to submit a cover letter?
No, not for this programme.

When will I hear back?
We review all applications after the application deadline. We will not consider applications on a rolling basis.

What is the time commitment to participate in Belong@Bain?
Events for Belong@Bain will take place throughout the Autumn term. Further details to follow shortly.

Can I apply to both ExperienceBain and Belong@Bain? How are they different?
Yes, we encourage you to apply for Belong@Bain and ExperienceBain if you are eligible and interested. They are similar in that both programs introduce you to consulting and Bain before starting business school. But here’s how they differ:
- Belong@Bain is a programme open to LBS MBA students only who identify as Black Heritage.
- ExperienceBain is a larger program open to all incoming MBA students heading to eligible schools. It features periodic programming throughout the year.
- If you are selected for Belong@Bain, we’ll help you navigate any overlaps with ExperienceBain.
