WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The Senior Manager is part of the Global Travel & Expense (T&E) department and leads the strategic and operational oversight of the global T&E function, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency across all regions. This role is responsible for managing regional T&E leaders, driving policy governance, optimizing processes, and enhancing the employee experience related to travel and expense management. This position is based in Dallas, TX and requires 3x a week in-office presence.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM 

The Senior Manager partners closely with Finance, HR, Audit, Legal, and Procurement to align T&E practices with organizational goals and compliance standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing global policy design and deployment, managing escalations, identifying trends through data analysis, and implementing automation and system enhancements. This role also champions continuous improvement initiatives, supports change management, and ensures global standardization while accommodating regional requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO  

Team & Operational Management

  • Manage and mentor regional T&E leaders across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas.
  • Build a high-performing, globally aligned team with a focus on development, engagement, and succession planning.
  • Oversee timely, accurate, and compliant processing of global T&E operations, driving performance and harmonization.
  • Own global T&E policy governance, standardization, and oversight of regular policy reviews in collaboration with GTEP lead. 

Technology, Automation & Analytics

  • Lead T&E process automation globally and system enhancements. Place AI on T&E Admin to bring operational optimization.
  • Collaborate with IT and platform owners to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Oversee global reporting, analyze trends, and use data-driven insights to support strategic decisions and cost efficiency. Identify areas that can be moved to central billing.
  • Drive continuous improvement, support transformation initiatives, and ensure adoption through stakeholder engagement and communication. 

Stakeholder Collaboration & Compliance

  • Serve as the global point of contact for Finance, HR, Procurement, Audit, Legal, and Technology teams.
  • Manage high-level escalations and ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and audit readiness.

ABOUT YOU

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree and an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Knowledge

  • Extensive understanding of global Travel & Expense (T&E) operations, including policy governance, compliance, audit, and tax implications across regions
  • Deep knowledge of T&E platforms and related finance systems
  • Strong grasp of global and regional regulatory requirements, including SOX, local tax laws, and statutory reporting
  • Familiarity with cross-functional processes, including Accounts Payable, Treasury, Procurement, HR, and Audit
  • Knowledge of change management, policy deployment, and best practices in global service delivery

Skills

  • Proven leadership and people management skills, including experience in leading regional managers and large, distributed teams
  • Excellent strategic thinking and operational planning skills to align T&E priorities with organizational goals
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to engage with senior leadership, business units, and cross-functional partners
