WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This is a full-time hybrid position based out of our Bain office in Mexico office and is an integral part of Corporate Support Functions CoE (SFCoE) of the Bain Capability Network. The CoE supports Americas-based case teams/ clients on corporate support cost reduction/ optimization cases through functional benchmarking and diagnostic solutions by undertaking complex and advanced data analysis to process client data and generate critical insights to help identify areas of improvement. Over time, we have built seamless solutions and use powerful, dynamic visualizations/ charts on multiple platforms (PowerBI, Tableau) to showcase our output.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM 

As an Associate in the team, you’ll be expected to play a senior member role on open ended PI cases, at times leading simple cases independently and at times driving the analysis on more complicated cases with direction from a Project Leader/Manager.

WHAT YOU’LL DO    

- Own end-to-end delivery of low to mid complexity workstreams of benchmarking & diagnostic solutions on Corporate Support optimization cases. This includes the following:

  • Work with case teams and clients to understand case requirements and leverage most appropriate tools/ solutions for identifying problem areas
  • Leverage client data to build detailed functional baseline and use it to conduct benchmarking analysis to identify opportunity areas and size-of-prize
  • Analyze responses received from qualitative surveys to identify current client state and emerging insights on opportunity areas
  • Showcase domain expertise on Corporate Support functions and topics

- Provide rapid benchmarking support and guidance on critical benchmarks to use to case teams looking for a high-level assessment of corporate support functions

- Ensure timely, high quality and Zero-defect output and conduct reality checks on answers with little to no support from Project Leader/ Supervisor

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s (2–5 years' experience) or Master’s degree (1–3 years' experience) with strong academic performance, preferably with at least 50% of experience in consulting, research, and/or analysis-related experience.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Prior involvement in Finance and HR transformation or optimization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of corporate support functions, including Shared Services.
  • Excellent analytical skills, communication skills (ability to deliver clear and professional presentations to senior stakeholders), team management, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of analytics & visualization tools, such as Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI
